Comprehensive Wolf Appliance Repair Services

Wolf Ranges Repair

Wolf GR gas and DF dual-fuel ranges lose burner ignition, drift out of calibration, or bake unevenly when a spark module or control panel fails. We diagnose the true cause and repair it with genuine Wolf parts, not guesswork.

Wolf Ovens or Microwaves

M Series, E Series, and L Series built-in wall ovens, convection steam ovens, speed ovens, and microwave drawers. We fix blown thermal fuses after self-clean, doors locked shut, failed magnetrons, and unresponsive control boards.

Wolf Cooktops Repair

Wolf CG gas, CT radiant electric, and CI induction cooktops. We repair igniters that keep clicking, cracked glass surfaces, failed induction generator boards, and burner valves that no longer hold a clean low flame.

Wolf Stove Repair

Searching specifically for Wolf stove repair. We handle surface burner rebuilds, gas line and valve safety verification, and oven temperature calibration, so every setting on your Wolf stove reads true again before we leave.

Wolf Ventilation Hood Repair

Wolf downdraft units, pro wall hoods, and island hoods. We replace noisy or seized blower motors, repair burnt control boards, restore dead lighting and fan speeds, and stop the rattle that starts under high load.

Wolf Outdoor Grill Repair

Wolf OG Series built-in and freestanding grills, plus earlier BBQ-1 and BBQ-2 models. We replace U-burners, hot surface igniters, flash tubes, and cracked briquette trays. We also service warming drawers and vacuum seal drawers.

Common Wolf Problems We Diagnose

These are the calls we run most often in San Francisco. Each one has a short list of likely causes, and a certified technician can usually confirm which is which within twenty minutes on site.

Oven will not reach set temperature

Usually a failed RTD temperature sensor feeding bad data to the control board, a weakened bake element, or a hot surface igniter that no longer draws enough current to open the safety gas valve. We ohm-test the sensor and igniter rather than replacing parts on a hunch.

Burner clicks but will not light

The spark is arriving but gas is not. Clogged burner ports, a saturated or misaligned electrode, a failed spark module, or a valve that is not opening. We clean, test, and replace only the component that actually failed.

Igniter keeps clicking after the burner is off

Almost always moisture in the burner cap or a shorted switch inside the spark module telling the system a burner is still calling for ignition. Left alone, it wears the module out. We dry, reseat, and replace the faulty switch.

Oven shuts off mid-cycle

A thermal cutout or high-limit thermostat is tripping, often because the cooling fan has stalled or the oven is genuinely overheating from a stuck relay. We find the root cause instead of resetting the breaker and calling it fixed.

Door will not latch or unlock after self-clean

The classic F1 scenario. The latch motor must complete its full travel and confirm both lock and unlock switches within sixty seconds. When the motor wears, the door stays shut. We replace the latch assembly with an OEM unit.

Uneven baking or hot spots

Calibration drift, a partially failed bake or broil element, a convection fan that is not circulating properly, or a door gasket letting heat escape. San Francisco coastal humidity accelerates gasket wear more than most owners expect.

Convection fan noise

Worn fan motor bearings, a loose or warped blade contacting the shroud, or debris that dropped in during a self-clean cycle. Caught early, this is a straightforward motor swap. Ignored, it can take the control board with it.

Wolf error codes

F1 for door latch or board communication, F3 and F4 for RTD sensor open and shorted circuits, OPP for a dual-fuel oven blocked by a self-clean cycle, OE for a shorted relay board, and COMM ERR on L Series. A breaker reset for sixty seconds clears temporary glitches. Anything that returns needs certified diagnosis.

Authorized Wolf Warranty Coverage and Protection

Wolf covers every appliance for two years on parts and labor, plus five years on gas burners, heating elements, hood blower motors, control boards, magnetron tubes, and induction generators.

As an authorized Wolf partner, we deliver what the factory delivers. Genuine Wolf OEM parts carrying their own manufacturer warranty, certified technicians trained on your model, and documented service that keeps your record clean. Same parts, same standards, same protection, without the wait for a factory dispatch.

Send us the model and serial number from your appliance tag and we will confirm your coverage before we quote anything.

Wolf Repair Costs in San Francisco

Most Wolf appliance repairs in San Francisco cost between $180 and $700, parts and labor included. Igniters, temperature sensors, and heating elements sit at the low end. Electronic control boards run $350 to $700, and induction generator boards (CI Series) can reach $900. The initial cost depends on the problems of the appliance, and we provide free diagnosis, isolate the failed component, and quote parts and labor upfront before starting the work.

Why Choose All State Appliance Repair as Your Wolf Partner

Wolf is not a brand you learn on the job. GR and DF ranges, M and L Series wall ovens, CI induction cooktops, and OG outdoor grills each fail in their own way, and factory training is what separates a correct diagnosis from a parts lottery. All State Appliance Repair works the full Wolf, Sub-Zero, and Cove line from our Geary Boulevard shop, serving San Francisco, Marin County, Alameda County, and San Mateo County.

Good communication. Showed up on time (3 times). Very strong work. Came back because the appliance was making a funny noise, could never really figure it out, but tightened things that needed to be tightened and the noise went away. He knows his stuff. I am entirely satisfied.

We originally had another repair service for our dryer and they felt they weren’t qualified. We called All State. They set up an appointment and in a few days they arrived not only on time but had preordered the parts. Igor was so sophisticated and competent. He had all of the necessary tools and equipment since my dryer was on top of my washer in a very tight space. He replaced the heating element and left the area spotless. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. True professionals.

Igor was great. Friendly, efficient, explained what he needed to do, did it, then showed us exactly what had gone wrong and what we needed to do in the future to make sure it didn’t happen again. Very positive experience.

Charged me $220 for 15 mins of labor. First the tech said $200 for the job but when he was done he said there is still parts and tax to add on. That should’ve been said beforehand. The tech replaced the door switch on my dryer.

*Update: Igor, the owner contacted me and was quick to rectified the issue, including a refund which I appreciate. For that reason I am changing the rating to 5 stars.

I called them at 5:38, I get scheduled same day from 6pm to 8pm. Daniel shows up at 6:14, found the problem very quickly. He gave a clear quote for labor and parts, and discussed with me all the options that I had. Very professional. He fixed my refrigerator within an hour. And he left the workspace clean, and was careful to not scratch kitchen floors. It was the fastest service exp in my life!
I will highly recommend them!

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do you carry genuine Wolf parts?

Yes. We install genuine Wolf OEM parts sourced through authorized channels, never aftermarket substitutes. Wolf tolerances are tight, and a generic igniter or sensor will drift out of spec quickly. Our vans stock the fast-moving parts for SF Bay Area kitchens, and every part carries its factory warranty.

2. Can you service discontinued Wolf models?

Yes. We regularly service Wolf ranges, cooktops, and wall ovens from the early 2000s, including BBQ-1 and BBQ-2 outdoor grills. Some legacy parts are no longer produced, so we confirm availability by model and serial number before quoting. When a part is truly gone, we tell you honestly.

3. What does the F1 code mean on my Wolf oven?

F1 usually points to the door latch assembly, most often after a self-clean cycle, or to a communication fault between the control boards. Cut power at the breaker for sixty seconds and restore it. If F1 returns, the latch motor, RTD sensor, or board needs professional replacement.

4. How quickly can someone come out?

Same-day service is available across San Francisco for calls placed before early afternoon, and next day covers the rest. We run seven days a week, Monday through Saturday from 7 am to 8 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm, with emergency response for gas-related faults.

5. Do you charge a diagnostic fee?

No. Diagnosis is free for San Francisco customers. Our technician inspects the appliance, identifies the failed component, and gives you a firm written price covering parts and labor before touching anything. You approve the number first. Most Bay Area competitors charge $75 to $125 just to show up.
